Your Mission: You will be responsible for driving profitable growth through increasing sales of GE Vernova's world class wind turbines. You will also bring the ability to work closely with your assigned customers, GE Vernova’s product management, supply chain, finance, service and commercial operations.
This is an IC (Individual Contributor) role reporting to our Sales Director North Europe.
Main Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with key contacts at assigned accounts and understand their project needs and strategies
Provide commercial and technical support to help customers shape their project plans
Position GE Vernova’s wind products and services favourably in all customer wind projects
Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities within assigned accounts and territories
Gather and communicate customer expectations—both project‑specific and broader business needs—to the Renewables team
Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Service, and Project Management to use resources effectively
Own turbine selections, orders, pricing, profitability, risk management, contract terms, and overall customer satisfaction
Keep CRM data accurate, manage the full Inquiry‑to‑Order process, and support trade shows, conferences, and other market‑development activities
Your Profile:
Degree in Engineering or technical discipline with applicable industry experience
Solid understanding of the wind power markets; including customer financial drivers and needs
Minimum of 5-7 years working as sales and\or business development manager in the wind power industry
Strong communication skills and confidence with executive level presentations
Strong interpersonal, team building, and negotiation skills; ability to work with colleagues and customers at all levels of the organizations
Flexible for frequent travel – Up to 30-40%, mainly nationally
Self-starter with high energy and ability to energize others
Fluency in German and English is a key requirement
