CACI is seeking a Survivability Engineer to analyze new Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) specifically EMALS and AAG and/or Aviation Fire Fighting ship systems for multiple government customers in Washington D.C. The Survivability Engineer will provide support in reviewing, analyzing, and reporting out on survivability topics including ship susceptibility, vulnerability, and recoverability.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Analyze new ships ALRE systems for our government customers

  • Create and execute test plans for surrogate and shipboard test

  • Support survivability design work for new ships and Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E) for ongoing ship programs

  • Learn survivability concepts and terminology on the job



Qualifications:

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • Shipboard ALRE experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 2 years of related experience (or Master's degree) is desirable but not required.

  • Experience with Electromagnetic Aircraft Launching Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG)

  • Experience with Aviation fire fighting procedures

  • Working knowledge of naval ships, their systems, and operations

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
