The Full Stack .NET Development Engineer will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Design and Development. You will contribute to our future state technical strategy as well as mentor more junior developers. You will play an important role in interfacing with customer for the successful delivery of the project. You will also help the team deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. The Full Stack .NET Development Engineer is responsible for the techno-functional impact analysis, design and code construction activities associated with development of software releases for the Meritain business systems. Strong technical, functional, and interpersonal skills are key to perform this role successfully. The current suite of systems includes multiple applications including, but not limited, to the Tier 1 systems for the Meritain business. The Full Stack .NET Development Engineer will partner and collaborate with the development manager, product mgmt./owners, architects, quality assurance/testing, developers, and project managers to deliver Business change and innovation into our .NET based business applications software. The Full Stack .NET Development Engineer will be involved throughout the entire development life cycle of a product and must be able to deliver an efficient solution, as well as identify and properly mitigate any risks to the product before deployment to production. The individual will play an important role in interfacing with customer and work with the team for the successful delivery of the project. Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional IT experience
  • 7+ years of .NET experience, including ASP.NET, MVC and C#
  • 7+ years software development and requirement analysis, design experience
  • 7+ years of development experience for projects delivered via Agile or SAFe methodologies
  • 7+ years of .NET Core including Web API, WCF, Entity Framework
  • Solid experience with Visual Studio, .NET, and PL/SQL development is required
  • A track record of writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code
  • Proven experience as technical SME (with domain knowledge) in understanding business requirements and translating into software solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Micro services architecture a plus
  • Strong knowledge on Azure cloud
  • Understanding of web security basics
  • Microsoft certifications are a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$130,295.00 - $260,590.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
