Job Description Summary

As a Principal Program Manager CMR and Cost Productivity you will be responsible to lead a strategic transformation program enabling the vision of real-time Contract Margin Assessment and Cost Productivity for the Gas Power Contractual Services business line. This role will drive a cross-functional roadmap spanning business process simplification, data quality, systems integration, and workflow automation to improve margin visibility, reduce non-value added hours, and support faster, better operational and financial decisions.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong partnership across IT, Finance, CSA Risk, Services Cost & Productivity, Services Operations, Commercial, and CS Business line teams. The leader will help move the organization from reactive, manual cost administration to proactive, intelligence-driven cost management and margin control.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end program roadmap for real-time contract margin and cost productivity.

  • Drive the vision of Integrated CS Platform by partnering with CS Value Stream and IT Product/Process Leads.

  • Align business and IT stakeholders on priorities, scope, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

  • Drive simplification and digitization of margin review, event cost management, commentary, and related workflows.

  • Improve data quality and integration across key platforms supporting contract, event, cost, billing, and inventory processes.

  • Establish strong governance, execution rigor, dependency management, and executive reporting.

  • Deliver measurable improvements in productivity, margin transparency, cycle time, and manual effort reduction.

  • Partners with IT Development team to ensure healthy development process.

  • Mentors junior team members.

  • Provide technical leadership to TPMs across organization.

  • Expert in Agile Methodology: Coaches others.

Scope of Impact

This role will directly influence strategic initiatives tied to:

  • Near real-time contract margin assessment (Advanced Modelling Platform)

  • Margin review prework automation

  • Event and outage cost productivity

  • ConFIRM and cost classification transformation

  • Commentary simplification and intelligence generation

  • PIPO, BLD, and CS Inventory/parts integration

  • Event data quality and contract/master data alignment

  • Billing and forecasting signal improvement

  • Cross-functional operating model simplification across Global Services - Finance, Risk, and Operations

Education Qualification

For roles outside USA:

Bachelor's Degree in with significant experience.

For roles in USA: Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Computer Science, IT, Math or Engineering) with minimum 10 years of experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Significant experience in IT program management, product/program delivery, business transformation, or enterprise systems implementation.

  • Experience leading large, cross-functional, business-critical IT transformation programs in a complex matrixed environment.

  • Demonstrated experience partnering across business, finance, operations, and IT organizations.

  • Strong understanding of program governance, roadmap planning, dependency management, risk management, and executive stakeholder communication.

  • Strong knowledge of contract margin, cost, forecasting, billing, service operations, or contract-driven business processes.

  • Experience with digital transformation involving enterprise platforms, data integration, workflow automation, and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial, energy, services, field operations, finance transformation, or ERP-connected operational ecosystems.

  • Familiarity with Contractual services applications like AMP, ConFIRM, Catalog, MyFleet, BLD and Escalation Factor

  • Familiarity with SAP/Alpha ERP-connected processes, operational finance, event/project costing, and service execution workflows.

  • Experience working with AI-enabled business processes, intelligent automation, or data/analytics-led process redesign.

  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Lean, or related program/project certifications are a plus.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $135,800.00 and $226,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
