Job Description:

As the Technical Lead for our SCM delivery team, you will support the development of the IT architecture and roadmaps within the supply chain space. Our team is responsible for critical applications supporting supply chain, logistics, contract manufacturing, and planning systems. Given that our technical teams are outsourced to a third party, we seek a highly skilled professional capable of effectively managing and leading outsourced delivery teams.

You will be highly experienced in materials management, sales and distribution, logistics, EDI, and act as both a technical expert and hands-on configurator, with a broad understanding of large-scale ERP systems.

In this position, you will work with the global procurement, logistics, and trade compliance teams and assist and train other members of the delivery team.

You will manage architectural design decisions and solutioning and be a key collaborator in Sprint refinement. You will define, estimate, and prioritize technical debt to meet key business objectives. You will own and manage the QA process and practice design and code reviews.

We also require a proven track record in Agile development management, where you will be responsible for leading the SAP delivery team through Agile methodologies from a technical perspective. This includes backlog prioritization, Sprint planning, and working closely with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of technical solutions. Your role will involve mentoring and supporting Agile practices within the team and ensuring a continuous delivery pipeline.

You will also be accountable for the design, implementation, and maintenance of enhancements to our SAP ERP System. Your focus will be on ensuring that solutions designed in our ERP environment are done with sustainable, high quality, and best practice design in mind.

You’ll be accountable for reviewing and approving documentation of processes and configuration, ERP system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, leading User Acceptance testing activities with offshore teams, and ensuring that proper IT Change and Release processes are followed.

You should have implementation experience with a global consumer electronics company or high-tech company, and understand both systems configuration and overall systems architecture in an enterprise environment.

Customer Success:

  • Collaborate with business partners and Scrum teams to deliver all aspects of large, complex IT projects or multiple IT projects with minimal direction including project planning, execution, timing, requirements management, quality and cost
  • Address user concerns, provide regular progress updates, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for working with Scrum teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions that address business demands and are aligned with corporate initiatives
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables

Quality Assurance:  

  • Implement and enforce best practices in ERP delivery and documentation standards for all relevant solutions
  • Ensure that standards are adhered to, and that documentation and change control processes are followed across the applications organization
  • Provide functional and technical guidance for decisions made regarding our ERP landscape, as it pertains to supply chain management
  • Seek to use best practices, standards, and the right partners and vendors to provide solutions to meet Bose’s business objectives; ensure that the team also follows the same standards. 

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or relevant work history).
  • 7+ years experience with a large-scale ERP suite (similar but not limited to SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365)
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP SD/MM Functional roles. Hands-on experience with SAP ECC is preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of EDI implementation with SAP.
  • Proven experience in a global company with extensive third-party logistics and contract manufacturing
  • Experience in working with outsourced delivery teams
  • Experience in managing or participating in ERP projects. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail in data management and process execution.
  • Thorough understanding of IT governance and SCM best practices
  • Scaled Agile Framework Certification (desired)
  • Experienced user of JIRA Pro and JIRA Align

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, written & spoken with the ability to effectively understand and explain complex technical issues
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, issues, and challenges
