Purchase goods, materials, and follow-up services from external suppliers to meet operational needs.
Process, review, and control purchase orders through demand flow.
Track inventory turns, DIOH, and OTD performance.
Follow up with suppliers on quality, delivery, open orders, returns, and invoice issues.
Resolve payment and invoice discrepancies and create eGPR for critical suppliers.
Process advance payments and claims when required.
Coordinate with Planning, production, quality, engineering, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to support supply continuity.
Explore alternate sources for goods and materials when needed.
Schedule and participate in meetings with critical suppliers to address shortages and risks.
Verify compliance with legal, corporate, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Stay close to daily planning and production needs so purchase decisions reflect actual demand and priorities.
Own follow-up with accuracy and urgency, keeping order status, supplier communication, and documentation up to date.
Use data to spot risks early by monitoring shortages, inventory performance, and supplier issues.
Work as one team across operations, quality, engineering, and manufacturing to remove obstacles for the business.
Improve every day by raising issues clearly, suggesting practical solutions, and supporting better purchasing flow.
Operate with safety, integrity, and accountability in every supplier interaction and internal process.
What are we looking for?
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
1+ year of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience.
Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
Strong MS Office skills.
Advanced Excel skills, including Index/Match and array formulas.
Experience with an MRP system and purchasing demand flow.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
Supplier management and negotiation skills.
