Position Summary

In your role as a Infra Designer, you'll be responsible for the internal factory evaluations of bulk gas, liquid, and drain capacities. You'll be the first-level reviewer for all tool retrofit and expansion projects involving various versions of air, water, exhaust, and drain systems.

You'll also be responsible for constructing comprehensive summaries of factory utility requirements for pre-build or early design phase and encompasses conducting field audits and verifying installation locations and material types according to design reviews throughout the construction.

You'll also document and process change order requests related to ongoing upgrades and modifications to utility requirements for different tools and factory needs.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Understand utility drawings in AutoCAD.

  • As needed lateral design in AutoCAD for new tool expansion needs

  • Execute in factory field walks during early design to evaluate pipe routing and interference risks

  • Interact closely with Facility Services, Unit Parts, GCS, PCS, EH&S and CRT.

  • Document control of piping specs and flow models for bulk utilities.

  • Review tool installation packages for accuracy.

  • Managing stakeholders in a customer-service oriented team.

  • Future scenario planning support including schedule forecasting and reporting.

  • Build out of cost and schedule requirements for utility retrofits.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • 4yr engineering degree. (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil)

  • 2+ years exp. in design or equipment/utility install experience; semiconductor facility support preferred.

  • Ability to read and understand design plans, shop drawings, and work in progress, and experience managing and leading projects including design, specification, and construction administration.

  • Familiarity with design and installation of facility equipment, or design and construction of industrial buildings.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards, IBC and other codes and standards applicable to industrial facility design and construction.    

  • Aptitude for documentation and data analysis using MS Office programs, including Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point.

  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD 

  • Experience with pipeflow and python a plus

  • Ability to work shifted schedules as needed for project support

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $212,650. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
