As a Director of Regional Ambulatory Operations, you will support and direct the overall operations for the Regional Ambulatory locations in North Broward and Palm Beach, including Coral Springs, Parkland, Coral Medical Care, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Wellington. You will assist with budget development, clinical operations and patient access, employee management and non-staff productivity, while aligning with the Clinical institute and enterprise strategies. 

A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with the availability to float between all the supported locations. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Direct the overall operations for assigned regional ambulatory locations including budget development, clinical operations, patient access, caregiver management and non-staff productivity. 

  • Assist in developing initiatives aligned with the clinical institute and enterprise strategies. 

  • Support the application of CC operating procedures and communicate with management to ensure understanding and compliance with policies/procedures. 

  • Direct the selection and placement of new caregivers, performance evaluations and corrective actions. 

  • Interpret and communicate policies/procedures and relevant changes. 

  • Develop and manage departmental operating budgets and educational funding activities and monitor cost variances. 

  • Identify and lead key department cost management initiatives to achieve quantified results. 

  • Develop a strong understanding of and co-lead in the direction/monitoring of the revenue cycle for the department's professional billing and reimbursement and associated technical centers within department. 

  • Partner with community leaders to support wellness and ensure provided services are aligned with community needs.  

  • Collaborate with leadership in implementing strategic initiatives within the assigned locations including institute growth strategies, new practice acquisitions and marketing plans. 

  • Note: the level of Director is dependent on the review and application of organizational criteria that includes, but it not limited to budgeted FTE's, budgeted operating expense, number of sites and locations, and staff FTE's. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field 

  • Five years of progressively responsible related work experience and supervisory experience 

  • Excellent analytical, communication, leadership and critical thinking skills 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Master’s Degree and three years of the experience requirement

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. 

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. For some roles, ability to travel to other locations, including international travel.

  • Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment.           

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, including the ability to deliver any applicable training in person and virtually.

  • In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.
