Meet the team:

Partner with both MY and US IT Information Security team to automate backend operation tasks and activities, identify opportunities in existing IT processes that could be made more efficient or effective through automation and develop program application to take advantages of these opportunities.

Where you come in:

• You will design and develop automation solutions/applications to streamline Dexcom Information Security operation and monitoring for Security Engineering critical services.
• You will develop and implement automated solutions/applications to detect suspected security incidents.
• You will collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate security tools and processes into the CI/CD pipeline.
• You will do automation and scripting for automating various security task to reduce manual routine security operation and reduce likelihood of manual human error.
• You will create and maintain documentation for security automation processes and procedures.

What makes you successful:

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent applicable experience.
• You have a minimum 5 years working experience in related field. Preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• You are well versed in programming language such as Python, C++, or similar.
• You have experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell, PHP, Perl, or similar.
• You have experience in REST API and knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps.
• You have proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.
• You have a good understanding in general IT/Cloud security and automation.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical subject area, and a minimum of 5 - 8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2 - 5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0 - 2 years experience.
