Overview

Trend Vision One™ Container Security, built upon the Vision One platform, simplifies container protection with advanced image scanning, policy-based admission control, and runtime detection, and response. It enables earlier and faster detection of malware, vulnerabilities, and compliance violations, allowing issues to be remediated before they impact production, reducing both operational cost and complexity.

As part of the Container Security development team, your primary focus will be to design and build high-quality backend services on AWS using Golang, delivering secure, scalable, and resilient microservices. You will collaborate closely with architects, product managers, QA engineers, and UX designers across regions. This role offers not only technical depth but also opportunities to grow in cross-functional communication, architecture design, and strategic product thinking.

Duties & Responsibilities:    

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native microservices using modern technologies and best practices
• Collaborate with AWS, Azure, and GCP partners to deliver a world-class SaaS security solution
• Deliver high-performance backend APIs that power the Vision One™ platform
• Work with the frontend team to enable rich and intuitive user experiences through well-defined APIs
• Apply agile development principles to deliver features iteratively and continuously improve team velocity
• Collect, analyze, and visualize telemetry data to provide insights that drive product and business decisions
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture improvements to ensure system quality and maintainability

Preferred Qualifications:     

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 2+ years of experience building backend systems using microservice architecture and RESTful API design
• Strong proficiency in Golang, and familiarity with frontend technologies (ReactJS, HTML5, CSS) is a plus
• Familiar with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like ECS/Fargate, Lambda, RDS/DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana) is a plus
• Good command of English communication skills, both written and verbal
