Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Educational Qualification : Bachelor of Computer Engineering/Science • Bachelor of Science + IT specialization

Key Responsibilities : • Manage DFSMS functions • Maintain SMS policies via ISMF • Develop and maintain ACS routines • Support data movement, dump, and restores with DFSMS or ISV tool 1 Implement automatic backup and migration (DFSMShsm or other tool) 2 Catalog management 3 Implement and support advanced copy replication services - PPRC/XRC, Global/Metro Mirror,Flashcopy 4 Install and configure additional physical storage, DR support 5 Generate storage availability status report and proactively suggest improvements Technical Experience : 1 Knowledge of z/OS storage functions, high level knowledge of architecture and hardware 2 Thorough knowledge of all tools and technologies used in Mainframe Storage 3 Thorough knowledge of using JCL, IBM & ISV Utilities used for Storage management 4 Knowledge of SMP/E and software installation 5 Overall knowledge of other support areas like Database, Middleware, Communication and Network Professional Attributes : Good communication skills Educational Qualification : Bachelor of Computer Engineering/Science • Bachelor of Science + IT specialization
