Overview

Seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in concrete and steel structure design, specializing in both sub‑structure and super structure analysis and design and proficient in tools such as SAFE, ROBOT, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, IDEA Statica, and RAM Connections. The engineer will assist with the development, coordination, and quality assurance of structural designs across concept, preliminary, and detailed stages, ensuring full compliance with relevant codes and project requirements while collaborating with teams across the UK, France, and Canada within the GTC Nuclear New Build group. This role involves multidisciplinary coordination and contributing to safe, durable, and constructible structural solutions for a variety of building types and project environments, supporting NNB projects.

Your role

• Design and FEA Analysis of Buildings, and underground structures.
• Experience in any of the software like SAFE/ROBOT/STAAD Pro/ ETABS/SAP 2000/ IDEASTATICA/RAM CONNECTIONS..
• Evaluation experience in the Execution of design calculations & shop drawings.
• Develop detailed designs from the schematic designs for large projects and schematics for small to medium projects.
• Providing detailed sketches for RC Shop drawings
• High-level technical report writing skills and report review.
• International code - IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes and CSA

About you

• Master in Structural Engineering.
• Concrete domain. Specialized in sub-structure analysis and design.
• Minimum year of experience – 4+ Years

Preferred Skills:

• Report writing skills are highly preferred.
• Experiece with structural software tools (i.e., ABAQUS, ANSYS, ROBOT, MATHCAD, ETABS, STAAD, IDEASTATICA, RAM CONNECTIONS, SAP 2000), its added advantage.
• Specialized in Dynamic & Seismic analysis of nuclear support structures.
• Experience in projects related to Industrial Plants/ Nuclear Power Plant / Buildings / High rise buildings / Airport / Metro
• Experience in review of RC shop drawings
• Specialized in Dynamic & Seismic analysis of structures with soil-structure interaction.
