Job Summary:

Products are sold onboard most of all passenger airlines in the world. To however be able to provide for instance a freshly produced sandwich or a newly released perfume requires a highly flexible supply chain and most of all enthusiastic and analytical persons who in the background manage and adapt the loading quantities based on different parameters and factors (think: right product, right place, right price and right point in time).

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, analyze and adjust product loading quantities onboard to ensure balance is kept in regards of wastage and sold-out occasions via data-analysis mostly in MS Excel.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports both for internal- and external stakeholders
  • Gather and analyze relevant secondary input with potential impact loadings onboard (i.e., crew reports, deviation reports, feedback from different meeting forums etc.)
  • Work with space optimization (how to stove products in the most efficient way onboard aircrafts)
  • Participate in different projects (cross-functional, internal and external)
  • Other relevant tasks that are handled by the Loadplanning department.

Qualifications

Personality:

  • Analytical mindset
  • Flexible approach

Technical Skills required

  • Basic/Advanced Excel skills – minimum experience required is knowledge of Pivot tables and basic Excel formulas (such as IF and VLOOKUP)
  • SQL (considered as an advantage)
  • ERP system knowledge (considered as an advantage)

Required previous work experience:

  • Previous experience as a production/logistics planner - for example experience from ordering and forecasting of retail products or raw materials within a supply chain
  • Previous experience from the airline industry is considered as an advantage but not a requirement

Language / Communication Skills:

  • English (fluent verbal and writing)
  • Other languages are a merit but not a requirement

Education:

High School degree or other relevant secondary education
