The Group Security (GS) team protects the Bank and our customers from cyber compromise, through proactive management of cyber security, privacy, and operational risk.

Impact & contribution :-

To ensure the Group achieves sustainable competitive advantage through data engineering, you will need to play a key role in supporting and executing the Groups data strategy.

We are looking for an experienced Data Quality Engineer to join our Group Security Team, which is part of the wider Cyber Security Engineering practice. In your role as Data Engineer, you will be required to setup Group Security Data Platform to ingests data (structured and unstructured) from organisations security telemetry data with additional data assets to provide security controls and services that are leveraged across the Group.  

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work on incident, problem, change or project which has, or may have, a major impact on services.
  • Responsible for the oversight and progress of all Major Technical Incidents to ensure their prompt resolution.
  • Possess Strong analytical skills and able to make sense & resolve complex and logical problems quickly.
  • Ability to analyse a range of information sources and to resolve potentially conflicting information and viewpoints to achieve an agreed outcome.
  • Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards.

Essential Skills :-

  • 5 to 8 years of solid operational experience
  • Domain knowledge in IAT – specifically in Authentication space – with decent knowledge in SSO / MFA areas
  • Possess excellent communication (Verbal & Written) and Interpersonal skills with team, clients and vendors
  • Possess excellent analytical, problem solving ability.
  • Can do attitude, with an ability to quickly learn and adapt to new authentication technologies

Education Qualification :-

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
