Position Summary Join GSK as a Cloud Security Assurance professional based in India. You will help secure our cloud platforms, services, and applications. You will work closely with engineers, architects, security and business teams to design, implement and operate cloud security controls. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Design, implement and operate security controls for cloud infrastructure and cloud-native services. - Integrate security into cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines together with engineering teams. - Drive automation for identity, authentication, authorization and access management in cloud environments. - Assess cloud risks and implement mitigation plans, including vulnerability identification and remediation guidance. - Maintain compliance with security standards and contribute to security policies and operational run-books. - Work with vendors, platform teams and stakeholders to evaluate tools and improve cloud security services. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security or cloud administration. - Hands-on experience with one or more cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS). - Practical experience with security technologies such as web application firewalls, cloud access security brokers, API security or endpoint protection. - Solid understanding of risk management, vulnerability management and compliance processes. - Good communication skills to explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Certifications such as CCSP, AZ-500, AZ-104, AWS Security Specialty or equivalent. - Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell or similar languages for automation. - Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with vulnerability scanning, container security and cloud-native security tooling. - Experience working with SOC, incident response or security engineering teams. - Experience designing highly available services and cloud disaster recovery approaches.
