About the team and the role: eBay, Inc. seeks Product Manager 2 - Technical in San Jose, CA

What you will accomplish: Develop a solid understanding of the e-commerce landscape and customer buying and selling behaviors. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand opportunities within your domain and adjacent departments. Develop a product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Understand how features fit into the product or service area and develop problem statements and hypotheses to address customer needs and market opportunities. Define the data needed to prioritize, and test hypotheses, reporting insights and size opportunities. Work globally and cross-functionally with engineers, data analysts, product marketing managers, UX designers, finance, and other stakeholders to drive technical solutions and influence product design. Lead and influence a global team to ensure collaboration between product, technology, marketing, and customer service teams. Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to design optimal customer experiences, focusing on engaging, customer-focused end-to-end user experiences. Drive architecture and integration decisions with dependency teams, estimating work efforts and defining milestones. Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to project stakeholders. Constantly evolve processes and resources to improve delivery speed and quality. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

What you will bring:

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Economics or a related field.

Special Skill Requirements:

1.    Work with engineers on scoping and system architecture
2.    Hands on experience writing code
3.    Data analysis using R and SQL, including writing complex queries and performing statistical analysis to derive actionable insights
4.    Product management at scale, leading cross functional teams 
5.    Conceiving, building & launching a product to an user based of over 1 million international users
6.    Native and web app product management
7.    Ability to use advanced product analytics tools and conducting A/B testing to drive data-informed product decisions
8.    Inventory management, including sourcing, selling, and inventory selection
9.    Behavioral research methods, survey design, and statistical computing

Salary: $92,955.00-151,800.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
