Summary: As a Quality Engineer (Tester) for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for enabling full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your typical day will involve performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite, creating automation strategy, automated scripts and supporting data and environment configuration, participating in code reviews, monitoring, and reporting defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP for Utilities Billing application. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, UFT, or similar. - Perform manual testing as needed to ensure the quality of the software. - Identify, document, and track defects to resolution, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. - Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support testing activities. - Provide regular status updates on testing progress and quality metrics to project stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in SAP for Utilities Billing application testing. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in automation testing using Selenium, UFT, or similar tools. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience in testing web-based applications. - Experience in testing APIs and web services. - Experience in testing databases and SQL queries. - Experience in Agile software development methodologies. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing application testing. - The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - This position is based at our Mumbai office.
