Job Description:

The Head of Consumer Deposit Pricing & Portfolio Optimization establishes and manages the P&L of a Consumer Retail Deposit portfolio of over $100Bn to drive profitable growth and optimize the portfolio. Owns the strategy and decisions regarding pricing and fees as well as non-interest income analysis and decisions based on customer needs, regulatory changes, and guidance, all while focused on driving customer and revenue growth within TD's risk framework. This role also owns the maintenance of forecasted balances, net interest margin, and noninterest income, all driven by data and analytics insights and strategic partner collaboration.

Depth & Scope:

Responsible for managing pricing and portfolio optimization to drive profitable growth
Accountable for establishing and managing all pricing and fee decisions for $100+Bn of Consumer Retail Deposit portfolio
Create an integrated decision framework that analysis economic and customer behavior for balance change and addresses at risk population through competitive pricing strategies
Responsible for maintaining and growing industry leading Net-Interest Margin at balance growth in line or above industry
Responsible to manage non-interest income analysis and decisions based on customer needs, regulatory changes and guidance, all focused on driving revenue growth within TDs risk framework.
Influence internal and outside of deposits organization to drive critical business strategy and decisions (value proposition, growth and engagement tactics), all aligned to profitable  growth
Provide recommendations based on insights, of alternative sources for balance and P&L growth:
Ensuring end-to-end oversight of product solutions
Business owner for establishing and maintaining latest forecast for  balances, net interest margin, and noninterest income; driven by data and analytics insights and strategic partner collaboration.
Monitor, track and report against Plan/Forecast on a regular cadence. Ensure any emerging risks and opportunities are communicated to senior executives.
Responsible for leading Stress Testing review and challenge for Consumer Deposit Products & Payments

 
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 7-10 Years of related experience
  • Proven senior management leadership skills to lead a quality department of well-respected experts and consultants
  • Ability to develop and drive product strategies throughout the organization
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the design, development, implementation and profitability of product development and marketing in a financial/banking environment required
  • Superb communication, problem-solving and decision making skills with ability to effectively communicate with executive management
  • Proven ability to build strong collaborative business relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and apply skills to exercise influence over others decisions without express authority and influence mass change management
  • Experience in leading project management and delivering on time and within budget
  • Proven experience in product pricing, financial statements and ensuring budget targets are met or exceeded
  • Travel Required
