Core Responsibilities:

  • Determine plant production requirements based on Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), open customer orders, and annual production goals.
  • Build weekly production schedules to ensure delivery against S&OP production volumes and plant maintenance and project needs. Update and maintain the production planning module in SAP.
  • Monitor product and resource inventories in the plant and off-site warehouses and coordinate resource shipments accordingly.
  • Enter production information into digital systems including SAP.
  • Coordinate raw starch inventory and supplier split with raw procurement team and enter raw starch information into AgTech.
  • Track inventory of chemicals and order as necessary.
  • Coordinate uniform inventory with uniform vendor.
  • Drive performance in key functional accountabilities through ownership of relevant KPI’s and leadership of team members, including reporting out of KPI status utilizing Power BI for information gathering.
  • Provide coordination between supply chain, customer service, order coordination, and production including updating necessary reports in SAP and monitoring and controlling inventory physically and in SAP.
  • Lead and support the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process to resolve deviations in warehousing/logistics KPIs.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage purchase requisition process between plant and corporate functions including forecasting of supply usage to procurement and interfacing with keep stock vendors.
  • Assist and complete month end process with finance team.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Excellent computer skills:  Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on using spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Experience collecting data from various sources, organizing, and maintaining accurate records and files, and generating concise reports.
  • Solve practical problems based on best business practices and deal with a variety of duty related variables.
  • Broad experience in multiple areas of supply chain (planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and/or production operations)
