Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems using your expertise in Python programming language. Your typical day will involve working with UNIX shell scripting and troubleshooting complex issues to ensure smooth functioning of the systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide technical support to resolve complex issues within multiple components of critical business systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, ensuring timely resolution. - Develop and maintain scripts using Python programming language and UNIX shell scripting to automate tasks and improve system efficiency. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues, taking necessary actions to prevent system downtime. - Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python programming language. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in UNIX shell scripting. - Strong understanding of system architecture and troubleshooting methodologies. - Experience in monitoring and maintaining critical business systems. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Python programming language. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
