We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate to support the organization’s GAME ON strategy and work in a dynamic environment. The Finance Strategy and Planning Student will support the development and execution of the Finance & Operations annual strategic plans, and planning cycles. This role works cross-functionally with key leads to track initiatives, prepare executive materials, and support strategic decision-making.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
General Accountability
Support the development and management of the annual strategic plans and planning cycle for the Finance and Operations Division, integrating planning streams from different departments.
Assist in preparing executive review materials for strategic plans, initiatives, Quarterly Business Reviews, and fiscal objective updates
Maintain the Division OKR worksheet, advise the Senior Leadership Team on upcoming milestones, and coordinate functional working sessions to prepare required deliverables
Collaborate with the Finance Project Management lead, the Finance Systems lead and CFO on prioritizing strategic and optimization initiatives
Support & coordinate divisional meetings (e.g., Finance & Operations SLT, Town Halls, Offsites, Training, etc.), including agenda preparation, action-item tracking and follow-up
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administrative or related disciplines
Strong financial and operational acumen
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel skills
