About the Role:

As Senior Analyst - Energy Markets, you will be responsible for energy market analysis. You will analyze the fundamental drivers of global oil and regional gas markets, and support existing publications. You will report to the Executive Director of Energy Markets.

The worldwide chemical industry looks to Chemical Market Analytics to guide decisions and help manage risk across the entire value chain. 

You Will:

  • Collect and organize crude oil, fuel product and natural gas related statistics and current events

  • Lead the preparation of models, data sets, and analytics for activities covering energy markets

  • Lead the design and preparation of content delivery tools that enhance client experience

  • Collaborate with other analysts to create views on the NGL content within the gas producing regions

  • Support preparation of content, analytical tools, and processes; become the primary interface with the systems development for the upcoming services

  • Support and leverage intra-company expertise and content to support deliverables

You Have:

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience

  • Understanding of the fundamental drivers of the global oil and regional gas markets

  • Knowledge of the energy value chain and an ability to quickly gain an applied understanding of market dynamics

  • Direct experience operating and manipulating gas market models

  • Python, data visualization/business intelligence applications (i.e. PowerBI), data analysis, and data modelling experience

  • RBAC model experience

  • Experience modeling refinery unit operations

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Data Science, relevant discipline -OR- equivalent experience

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000
