Position: Bicycle & Scooter Repair Technician
Location: 100 Prestige Park Rd, East Hartford, CT 06108
Schedule:

  • Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (EST)
  • Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (EST)

Employment Type: W-2 Seasonal
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Job Summary

Veo is seeking a Bicycle & Scooter Repair Technician to support fleet operations by performing repairs, routine maintenance, and quality checks on electric scooters and bikes. This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined, reliable, and comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and routine maintenance on e-scooters and e-bikes
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and ride-ready
  • Replace parts and components as needed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and an organized workspace
  • Track repairs and tasks using smartphone apps or internal systems
  • Follow company safety standards and operational procedures
  • Assist with general warehouse and fleet tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude or experience with tools and repairs
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable using smartphones and basic technology
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in bike repair, scooter repair, or small engine maintenance
  • Background in warehouse, logistics, or field operations
  • Familiarity with electric vehicles or micromobility equipment
