The team is based in Warsaw and is part of a global Level 3 support for Citi Servers worldwide. We provide support to the corporate part of Citi financial services – the most exciting and challenging business in the finance industry. We work hand by hand with multiple international application and infrastructure teams across the world on daily basis. The environment comprises of over 22000 Intel and VMware servers which are running Windows 2018, 2012, 2016 and 2019 systems.

What will you do in this role?

• Resolve server problems in highly complex and business critical environment

• Support for application releases and audit reporting

• Support for the continuity of business planning and testing

• Have opportunity to use your scripting skills in wide server environment

• Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolution to restore services 

• Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service 

• Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and assist with the automation of repetitive tasks 

• Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and update processes and procedures as necessary  

You should feel proficient with most of below requirements:

• Experience in Windows 2016/2019 Systems administration

• Experience in performance troubleshooting on clustered servers with external storage

• Knowledge of HP server products and associated support tools

• Knowledge of DELL server products and associated support tools

• Basic knowledge of network protocol and devices

• Experience with VMware technology and products

• Middleware software knowledge like IIS, MQ,  

• Basic knowledge of SAN and NAS technology and devices
