Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Deployment & Administration - Install, configure, and manage Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, and synthetic monitors. - Manage environment configuration, tagging rules, management zones, and access control. - Ensure agent upgrades and platform stability. 2. Application & Infrastructure Monitoring - Configure monitoring for applications, services, databases, containers, and cloud. - Create custom dashboards, SLIs, and SLOs. 3. Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting - Analyze performance using service flow, PurePaths, and logs. - Troubleshoot issues related to performance and end-user experience. 4. Alerting & Automation - Configure alerting profiles and anomaly detection. - Implement automation using Dynatrace APIs and CI/CD. 5. Observability & Best Practices - Drive observability maturity and governance. - Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions. 6. Reporting & Optimization - Create health reports and provide performance optimization recommendations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Hands-on experience with Dynatrace (SaaS or Managed). - Expertise in dashboards, tagging, management zones, and alerting. - Experience with APM, infrastructure, logs, cloud, Kubernetes, and OS. - Scripting knowledge: Python, Shell, PowerShell. - Integrations with Jenkins, SNOW, Jira, Prometheus, etc. - Dynatrace certifications. - Strong communication and analytical abilities. - Ability to work independently and with global teams. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Dynatrace Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
