About The Role

Licensing & Commissions is a highly complex and field facing function that interact regularly with internal and external sales to assist with contracting issues, escalations, and other complex scenarios. The role will collaborate with the BA team and L&C leadership on operational projects to ensure the achievement of project goals and tactical business results including identify/reviews of organization’s risk management policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide partnership between LC&C operations and IT to maximize efficiencies and improve system functionality.
  • Identify and provide details on controls and processes to support business continuity efforts and eliminate operational risk.
  • Analytical ability, problem solver, can self-motivate to research answers to questions. Experience with independent research and summarization of information.
  • Good communication skills with ability to speak to both internal and external stakeholders as we identify and resolve compensation related issues to improve the customer experience.
  • Work with the BA team and L&C leadership on operational projects to ensure the achievement of project goals and tactical business results including identify/reviews of organization’s risk management policies and procedures. For example TLOP, 1099s, and MDRT.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate issue observations, or other key messages as needed to a variety of constituents, including senior business and audit management, both verbally and through written reports. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years business and system knowledge in Life Commissions or project management experience
  • Hard skills desired:  Excel, Word, Outlook. Possess skill or will learn: JIRA, Callidus, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills are required.  Ability to simplify technical issues and communicate to non-technical audience. 
  • Ability to identify and report potential key risks and controls across different business processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, IT, Sales and Management.
  • Experience with audit, regulatory controls, general IT controls, software/hardware paradigms, or coding is desirable.
  • Experience with leveraging the use of data analysis tools is a plus

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX office.
