Reporting to the Human Resource Technology team, you will harness data to support HR operations and help transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making within the University.

Key responsibilities:

HR Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute regular HR reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track HR metrics such as turnover, recruitment efficiency and workforce data/trends to measure the effectiveness of processes and overall organizational health.
  • Support reporting requests for regulatory purposes.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data reporting and address any discrepancies
  • Work with internal stakeholders to harness HR Analytics in supporting HR operation. This may include analysing complex datasets to present useful manpower data for analysis and reporting

Data Management

  • Analyze and clean HR data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Implement data governance practices to maintain high-quality data standards.

HR Analytics Projects

  • Drive HR analytics projects aimed at enhancing recruitment processes, employee retention strategies, and overall workforce planning
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable insights based on data analysis.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff on data tools and analytics processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Human Resources or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in HR function, with at least 5 years in a role that manages reporting/ analytics work.
  • Experience with Workday Report Writer, Power BI, Qlik Sense and Microsoft Excel (familiarity with statistical packages and/or SQL a plus) is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong analytical and critical thinking ability. Deep interest and aptitude in data metrics and trends
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders to translate data into meaningful information for supporting manpower and recruitment strategies and planning
  • Knack for presenting data in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills
