KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and submit Title V Semi-Annual and Annual Reports in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and implement environmental programs, including Waste Management and Air Quality.
  • Develop and conduct environmental training sessions for staff.
  • Oversee the emissions testing program for heaters.
  • Remain current on environmental laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Participate in corporate environmental audits and assessments.
  • Provide expert guidance on environmental compliance with internal teams and departments.
  • Maintains sufficient professional expertise and proficiency in discipline to achieve Company expectations and perform technical assignments.

SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in air quality compliance is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience in managing environmental programs related to air, water, and waste.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and data analysis.
  • Strong background in environmental compliance.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with operations personnel and regulatory agencies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED required with 5 years of relevant environmental experience in a process industry (e.g. refining, midstream, petrochemical or other heavy industrial); or Bachelor’s degree in a HES related field with no relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with no relevant experience
  • Conceptual knowledge of environmental compliance and regulatory framework
  • Ability to monitor compliance with environmental regulations preferred
  • Ability to develop business acumen and technical knowledge preferred
  • A valid driver's license is required
