As a ServiceNow Technical Architect at Accenture, you will be responsible for developing and growing the ServiceNow technical team in the Slovak Republic, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and creating client solutions. You will leverage your expertise in Service Management/ServiceNow and market knowledge to support customer needs and develop value propositions. Our portfolio encompasses the selling of the ServiceNow products, the implementation of the solution, and its long-term maintenance/management (Application Management Services).

YOUR MISSION

  • Responsible for leading and managing the technical development team in the Slovak Republic, overseeing business operations in the country/region, setting and evaluating people performance objectives and growing the team (recruiting and training), collaborating with ServiceNow teams across Europe

  • Contribute to ServiceNow Solution implementation, according to your role in a project, which could include such activities as: system configuration, development of custom features on client and server side, technical consulting and solution design, technical specifications preparation, testing support, rollout support, and others.

  • Manage communication with stakeholders and respective management teams on the customer side.

  • Technically manage the delivery of Accenture’s ServiceNow projects.

  • Set and follow implementation standards and technical best practices.

  • Provide expertise on technical questions, related to the ServiceNow platform to clients internally and externally

  • Design technical solutions, and introduce and implement ServiceNow innovations.

  • Understand the business needs and the need to standardize processes and build this into the design and deliverables.

  • Continually educate yourself and complete certifications related to ServiceNow business.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Previous ServiceNow implementation/architecture experience.

  • ServiceNow Certified Administrator and Application Developer certificate(s) is a big advantage.

  • Experience with other ITSM software (BMC, Landesk, Cherwell, Heat, Axios, HP, etc.).

  • System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP

  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)

  • Knowledge of IT Service Management & Operations. ITIL Service Delivery processes and ITIL v3 or ITIL4 certifications are a big advantage.

  • Approx. 1-3 years’ experience in Web application development in relevant roles

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including an ability to convey technical information using non-technical language.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.

  • University or equivalent degree in an IT-related field.

  • Proven track of records in client/server and Web applications implementation projects.

  • Working experience in agile software development environment (Scrum/Kanban).

  • Self-motivation and ability to work in self-organized teams.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.

  • Working proficiency in English
