We seek a dynamic and results-oriented Product Manager to oversee the Deal Management at Groupon. This role will be pivotal in enhancing merchants' and internal stakeholders (sales, content operations,...) tools and features for creating, managing, and optimizing their deals.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user needs, a solid technical background, B2B SaaS experience, a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences, a deep sense of urgency, ownership, and data-driven decision-making.

Locations - London, Prague, Valencia, Warsaw. We prefer to have you 2 days a week in the office for a better collaboration!

  • Seeking new opportunities and inspiration from top players - how to scale the product, optimize, and introduce new features. 
  • Prioritizing the best opportunities at any given moment and considering their impact compared to the effort expended.

Role requirements:

1) Product Strategy and Vision

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for deal management.
  • Align product initiatives with Groupon’s overall business goals and objectives.

2) Feature Development

  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative features that enhance the merchant experience.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery (Asana, Jira).

3) User Research and Feedback

  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand merchant needs and pain points.
  • Use insights to prioritize product features and improvements.

4) Roadmap and Planning

  • Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company priorities.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including post-launch analysis and iteration.

5) Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, merchant support, and marketing, to align product development with business needs. Communicate product updates and progress to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.

What we're looking for in you:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Familiarity with the e-commerce or local commerce industry.
  • Previous experience managing a team of product managers or related roles.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a SaaS fast-paced environment (ideally scale-up/start-up)
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Strong technical background with a good understanding of software development processes.
  • Proficiency in using product management tools such as Figma, Jira, Confluence, and A/B testing platforms.
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to derive insights from user data and analytics.
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
