GSK's US Market Access team is looking for a (Field) Strategic Oncology Accounts Director (SOAD). Being part of Oncology at GSK is being part of something special. As a Field Strategic Oncology Accounts Director (SOAD), you will be responsible for managing a list of key oncology targeted accounts to provide strategic direction/alignment, customer insights, contract management/pull thru and ensuring access and integration into decision making platforms for on-label indications. This role will work closely with Brand/Marketing, Medical, Market Access and Field Sales, Legal and Compliance teams.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following...

  • Provide oncology account management, on label product decision-making access and gather customer insights to support the development and execution of Market Access and Brand strategies within key targeted oncology accounts across the oncology portfolio and select GSK products (if applicable),
  • Develop commercial PBDM relationships within each account at the C & D Suite level to ensure an understanding of their account objectives, goals, and challenges to provide customer insights to support Brand and Market Access strategies/alignment
    •  Pharmacy and Medical Directors, Executive Directors, Administrators, Contracting Directors, and other similar roles
    • Engagement with PBDMs --Face to Face (primary), virtual, email communications, customer preference etc. (secondary)
  • Ensure integration and on-label access within account level decision making platform tools (such as EMRs, formulary, account level pathways, and order sets if applicable), using on-label resources related to GSK oncology and select portfolio products and cross functional matrix team support
  • Conduct Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) (specialty and traditional, if applicable) contract presentations and support contract management/pull thru within the targeted account list on a quarterly basis
  • Conducts internal and external business strategy discussions and business performance reviews routinely with external PBDM customers and key cross-functional HQ leaders to ensure understanding of the customer's business strategy and appropriately support it at all levels
  • Deliver and execute on strategic plans to achieve performance goals and objectives utilizing; KPls, and business problem solving tools.
  • Understanding oncology marketplace and landscape dynamics (such as IRA, Govt pricing, DIR fees, and other competitive impacts to accounts)
  • Fundamental clinical knowledge of SOAD product portfolio and competitive landscape
  • Maintains knowledge of GSK policies to ensure compliance and oncology risk framework, as applicable       

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals

  • Minimum of 5 years of oncology pharmaceutical experience required (marketing, sales, forecasting, budget management, and/or PBDM customer engagement)
  • 2+ years GPO experience (traditional or specialty/oncology)
  • 2+ years Contracting experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%; could be less based on geography
  • Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess strong business of oncology skills,
  • Role is responsible for managing multiple timelines, process, and procedures.
  • Strong project management experience, including superior analytical and planning skills.
