Mercer is seeking candidates to join our Remuneration Data Solutions (Career) team based in the Noida office. This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office at least three days a week.

Specialist – Implementation Service (C1)

What Can You Expect?

The Junior Implementer is responsible for acquiring foundational knowledge of the survey implementation process. In this role, the individual prepares the setup of internal survey tools in accordance with established guidelines and under supervision. They handle and report any issues that occur during the preparation of tools for processing, keeping their supervisors informed.

Team Members hired with additional programming skills, are supporting creation and maintenance of internally developed tools.

We Will Rely on You To:

  • Support the creation and management of survey databases using internal tools such as GST (Oracle-based) and DART (PostgreSQL).

  • Manage data dictionaries, including objects, expressions, and relationships between survey data elements.

  • Prepare and conduct data audits.

  • Develop and code customized reports.

  • Set parameters for benefit valuation calculations.

  • Configure statistical calculations.

  • Build mappings between systems and perform data transformations.

  • Configure and manage the online survey reporting tool (WIN), including Market View setup, survey publication, report management, and client releases.

  • Acquire process and tool knowledge through learning resources and supervised work.

  • Maintain high standards of quality, follow documentation, and ensure compliance with workforce reporting requirements (JIRA).

  • Provide tier 1 technical support to Remuneration Data Solutions (RDS) analysts for troubleshooting tool-related issues.

  • Collaborate with other teams by offering ad-hoc assistance and suggesting simple improvements.

  • Create, update, and maintain programming tools to improve and streamline survey data processes, under supervision.

What You Need to Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, such as database management, survey tool implementation, or statistical analysis.

  • Strong proficiency in English.

  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook; basic familiarity with Excel VBA.

  • Understanding of relational database design concepts.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.

  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies.
