Job Profile Summary

The Facilitator II is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs that elevate the performance of Goosehead agents, while also contributing to the development and refinement of training content and delivery methods. This role builds on foundational facilitation skills by incorporating more advanced coaching, increased ownership of training outcomes, and active collaboration with leadership to enhance program effectiveness. Facilitator II serves as a key bridge between execution and strategy, helping ensure consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement across training initiatives.

Job Description

The Facilitator II plays an integral role in planning, delivering, and improving training programs across insurance products, carrier systems, and sales/service processes. This role continues to lead classroom and one-on-one training, while taking on greater responsibility in curriculum enhancement, peer mentorship, and driving measurable training outcomes.

Facilitator II partners closely with senior facilitators and leadership to identify gaps, refine materials, and implement improvements that align with organizational goals. This role is expected to demonstrate advanced facilitation techniques, provide more in-depth coaching, and contribute to the evolution of training programs that develop top-performing agents.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging classroom and virtual training sessions for new and tenured agents
  • Deliver advanced coaching through both group facilitation and individualized development plans
  • Take ownership of specific training modules or program segments, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Partner with Senior Facilitators and leadership to refine curriculum, materials, and delivery methods
  • Analyze trainee performance and provide actionable feedback to improve outcomes
  • Mentor and support newer facilitators, modeling best practices in facilitation and coaching
  • Contribute to the creation and enhancement of training resources and agent materials
  • Identify training gaps and recommend improvements based on classroom observations and performance trends
  • Stay current with industry trends, systems, and emerging training methodologies

  • Advanced communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Strong coaching ability with a focus on performance improvement
  • Ability to analyze training effectiveness and adapt delivery accordingly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic training environments
  • Working knowledge of sales and service processes with the ability to teach and refine them

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 2–3+ years of facilitation, training, or coaching experience
  • OR completion of at least 15 internal facilitation credit hours/certifications
  • Demonstrated success in training delivery and learner performance improvement
  • Experience in sales, service, or insurance-related environments preferred
