Summary: The expectation of this position is to lead and direct a GP PS Hatchery Team to provide quality products by meeting customer expectations and to achieve financial and business objectives.
- Essential functions of this position are: Provide quality products to our customers globally; achieve production and financial objectives; develop and maintain effective communication with customers shared services and other hatcheries; achieve HR and Safety objectives that support hatchery facilities; develop evaluate and implement new processes and technology; maintain compliance with domestic and international entities regulating Cobb business activities; and have and maintain qualified team members.

Requirements:
- Education: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional field normally acquired through four 4 years of college resulting in a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 4 plus years poultry management related experience.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must be able to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals using available computer programs.
- Supervisory: A team of 2 plus direct salaried positions one 1 direct management support position and approximately 20 plus hourly team members.
- Travel: Travel domestically approximately 4 times per year.
- Biosecurity: The jobsite is a biosecurity environment which requires showering before entering the facility and could require multiple showers during the work day. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species chickens ducks birds . The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times. Must be willing to follow the guidelines in all Cobb Farms Hatcheries Biosecurity Standards. Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques. While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly required to stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms balance stoop talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
- Personal Protective Equipment Required: When visiting facilities is expected to follow the required safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment.
