The Position

Principle Roles & Responsibilities

Business Insights & Analytics

●      Outcome Management: Lead and optimize the AI-enabled business performance dashboard with cross-functional BPs; track the progress of company-wise WBOs (working by outcome) and core and common KPIs

●      Insight Synthesis: Integrate different sources of internal and external data and insights to inform emerging opportunities and pre-empt risks; advise high-level strategic priorities , execution watchouts and best practices

●      Business Operations: Organize and facilitate efficient CE-ON business dialogues and business planning/ review sessions

Strategic project management (PMO)

●      Strategic Initiatives: Lead and optimize CE-ON platform regarding key strategic initiatives to cross-pollinate ideas and experience; proactively propose out-side-in perspectives through external stakeholders/ ecosystem partners

●      Project Management: Reinforce the efficiency, cadence and motivations behind strategic project; support the Business Excellence and Operation Manager in critical projects (e.g., Annual meeting, cycle meeting)

●      Executive Liaison: Develop fit-for-purpose,  compelling and coherent storyline and key content to engage with the senior leadership team (China and Global) and CE-ON employees and cross-functions

●      Corporate Initiatives: Act as CE-ON PPoC (primary point of contact) in select squad team to ensure business needs are considered and key actions are fully implemented

Qualification and Experience

Education & Experience

●      Education: Master’s degree or above in Lifesciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Business

●      Commercial Experience: Mandatory marketing or access/ strategic planning/ Commercial excellence experience in leading global pharmaceutical companies. Front-line sales experience is a plus

●      Consulting Background: Strong preference for candidates with experience in strategic planning or healthcare consulting

●      Executive engagement: Proven record of senior leaders’ engagement

●      Tenure: At least 4 years of commercial experience in leading pharmaceutical companies

Key Competencies

●      Business Acumen: "System Thinking" “Problem solving" and a profound understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, particularly in commercialization

●      Analytical Prowess: Proven record of translating complex insights into business opportunities/ challenges, with familiarity of AI tools mandatory 

●      Initiative Taking: Ability to put forth a well-thought plan when giving high-level direction or even preliminary guidance

●      Leadership & Influence: Professional presence, articulate and confidence in engaging with senior leaders; exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority

●      Language: Fluent in both written and spoken English.
