We are seeking an Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (individual contributor) to lead FP&A efforts supporting savings fidelity, workplan milestone execution, and enterprise coordination across Operations, Digital Transformation, contingent labor, and enterprise services. This role requires a strong operations finance background and the ability to collaborate with function leaders and SBU partners with multiple priorities and personalities.

This role can be worked remotely in the U.S., must support Eastern Standard Hours. Preferred: Candidates located in the Northeast to work hybrid at our Farmington, CT site.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and manage financial planning and analysis for non-product categories including contingent labor and enterprise services.

  • Ensure fidelity in savings, investments, and transformation program performance tracking.

  • Coordinate closely with Ops, DT, and other functions to align on finance activities, forecast updates, and value capture.

  • Monitor workplan milestones; anticipate blockers and support resolution.

  • Provide clear, data-driven insights to operational and financial leadership.

  • Build strong relationships across functions to foster collaboration and influence outcomes.

  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

  • 12+ years of FP&A, operational finance, or strategic planning experience.

  • Strong operational finance expertise and understanding of complex cost structures.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace or manufacturing finance, including operational systems like PowerSteering or equivalent planning tools.

  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Travel 25%

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience

  • FP&A, operational finance, or strategic planning experience.

  • Finance expertise and understanding of complex cost structures

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
