Disney Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Platform Distribution (PD) are business units within Disney Entertainment that manage the company’s direct-to-consumer streaming brands (Disney+, Hulu, Hulu + Live TV, and bundles), as well as all third-party media sales efforts for distribution, affiliate-related business operations for all of the company's DTC services and linear media networks, and content sales agreements for Disney Entertainment and ESPN.
The multi-disciplined communications team is seeking a Communications Specialist who will be an integral part of the team, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to help manage a broad range of communication activities. This includes supporting all external consumer-facing efforts across a variety of complex businesses such as the brand management and growth strategies for Disney’s streaming services, DTC content performance/data and analytics, Hulu + Live TV, viewer experience, platform partner onboarding, consumer promotions, third-party content licensing, affiliate sales, and linear networks' distribution.

The hiring range for this position in California is $76,300.00 - $95,300.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
