Job Summary:
Responsible for completing new and existing construction system design and implementation for security technology. Attends risk assessments and construction related meetings for security across Wellstar Health system. Completes project budgets and submits quotes to project managers. Reviews all construction documents and provides commissioning at the close of each project. Also responsible for the operation and upkeep of security systems, including key and access control, CCTV, photo ID, and two-way radio systems. Reports directly to the manager of Security Technology.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Project Coordinator / Security assessments
* Main security contact for construction projects across the system
* Maintain a positive working relationship with security & project management leaders.
* Outline and oversee security design for various projects
* Ensure security equipment is purchased and commissioned according to WHS Security System Standards
* Complete project budget, quoting, purchasing, programming, and commissioning of security equipment for various projects across the system. (Large and Small)
* Attend local and system construction and risk assessment meetings as security subject matter expert.
* Security Technology / System Support
* Maintain a strong working knowledge of current security access control, CCTV, and photo ID systems.
* Assists with the responsibility and upkeep of security Access Control, CCTV, and Photo ID systems, as well as other systems designated by the Manger of
Security Technology.
* Maintain the Best Key control system and ensure it is up to date.
* Cut new keys, PIN new cores, and install door hardware for all outbuildings across the system. (Ensure all Wellstar buildings have at least 1 access door with a security GM)
* Ensure access groups within the access control system are properly updated
* Must be on-call for system security technology support as designated by Security Technology Manager.
Provide excellent customer service
* Maintain a positive working relationship with facility staff members
* Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers.
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of WHS facilities and security system layouts.
* Communicate effectively both written and verbal with diverse people including clients or their representatives, client employees, visitors, or client vendors.
* Write accurate, clear, and legible reports.
* Attend monthly staff meetings and in-service classes related to the Security Department.
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Required and
Associate's Degree Preferred
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
Additional License(s) and Certification(s):
Holds current/valid Georgia drivers license and insurable driving history Upon Hire Required
Required Minimum Experience:
Ability to read, interpret and layout security systems on blueprint designs Required and
Strong computer skills including Office 365, spreadsheet design and management, presentation applications, data entry and management. Required

Ability to communicate effectively and present information to professionals, other interested groups, and/or individuals.
