Job Description:

Training will take place during day shift. After training is complete, flexible to work 3:00pm-11:00pm or 11:00pm-7:00am. Flexible to work weekends and overtime

Pay Rate: $37.00/hr

Mechanic C Experience:

Previous experience in construction, maintenance, and/or repair work preferred. Ability to work all shifts including swing shift and work in a non-temperature controlled environment (hot, cold, dusty, dirty, and noisy).

Knowledge: Operating hand tools, welding equipment, etc.

Education: High School Diploma

Essential Function

Perform a variety of craft duties involved in simple construction, maintenance, lubrication and repair work on buildings and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

The procedure varies depending on the job being performed. Do easy acetylene and stick welding where the tolerances are broad. Assist on all types of construction, maintenance, and repair work as necessary throughout the plant. Use mechanic’s hand tools such as drills, saws, jackhammer, etc., in helping dismantle and assemble equipment. Perform other miscellaneous duties are required or requested. Clean up area where work is being performed. Ensure the plant area meets or exceeds all safety standards for SGI (guards, walkways…etc) and all work is performed safely.

Hourly Rate: 37.00
