Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will be responsible for understanding the requirements and translating them into functional software applications, ensuring that the solutions are efficient and effective in addressing the challenges faced by the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Azure DevOps). - Lead the design and development of Azure-based cloud-native services, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. - Design, develop, and maintain real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka for high-throughput, low-latency systems. - Ensure scalability, reliability, and integration of Kafka with enterprise applications and microservices. - Develop backend services using .Net Core, aligned with our approved cloud migration strategy. - Build and deploy applications on Azure App Service and manage data persistence via Azure SQL Database. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, ensure scalability, and optimize performance. - Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and agile ceremonies. - Contribute to observability and monitoring practices using Azure-native tools. - (Optional) Support or collaborate on front-end development using React (TypeScript/JavaScript) for internal tools or dashboards. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: - 8–12years of professional software engineering experience. - Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, AzureSQL, Key Vault, etc.). - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar). - Hands-on experience with Kafka development - Strong programming skills in C# / .NET Core (Java is added value) - Experience with GitLab CI/CD and understanding of DevSecOps principles. - Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, REST APIs, and microservices. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in high-pressure, business-critical environments Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
