Job Title: MuleSoft Integration Developer (Salesforce Experience)
Experience Required: 5 to 8 Years

The job

The MuleSoft Integration Developer (Salesforce Experience) is a hybrid role responsible for the health, scalability, and security of our integration ecosystem. This individual ensures that the Anypoint Platform remains performant while actively developing the APIs that connect our Salesforce environment to broader enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

1. Platform Governance & Administration

  • Infrastructure Management: Maintain Anypoint Platform (CloudHub/RTF), managing VPCs, Dedicated Load Balancers (DLBs), and certificate rotations.

  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize Anypoint Monitoring, Visualizer, and external tools (Splunk/ELK) to proactively identify bottlenecks.

  • Security & Policy: Implement and enforce API policies (OAuth, Rate Limiting, IP Whitelisting) within API Manager.

  • CI/CD Ownership: Manage automated deployment pipelines using Maven, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

2. Hands-on Development (MuleSoft)

  • API-Led Connectivity: Design and build System, Process, and Experience layer APIs.

  • Data Transformation: Write complex transformations using DataWeave 2.0.

  • Unit Testing: Ensure code quality through MUnit testing and integrated documentation in Anypoint Exchange.

3. Salesforce Integration Strategy

  • Connectivity: Manage Salesforce Connectors, Pub/Sub API, and Change Data Capture (CDC) configurations.

  • Resource Optimization: Monitor Salesforce API limits and governor limits to prevent integration-related outages.

  • Collaboration: Work with Salesforce Developers to align on Apex Callouts and Outbound Messaging logic.

Essential requirements

Experience 5+ years in Integration/Middleware, with 3+ years specifically in MuleSoft.

MuleSoft Tech Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, and DataWeave.

Salesforce Tech Understanding of Salesforce Objects, SOQL, and Event-Driven Architecture.

DevOps Version control (Git), Build tools (Maven), and CI/CD automation.

Education B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Desired skills

  • Integration: Anypoint Studio, API-led connectivity, Anypoint MQ, and OIDC/OAuth 2.0.

  • Salesforce: SOQL, Object modeling, and Event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub API).

  • DevOps/Backend: Java, XML/JSON, Git, and Log Management (Splunk/ELK).

  • Networking: TLS/SSL, DNS, and IP Whitelisting.
