Job Summary
Under the direction of a registered/licensed nurse (RN), the Patient Care Associate (PCA) as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team assists in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Previous Health Care experience not required. Must be able to attend entire five week training program with variable day hours. Program start dates are Tuesday, May 26th OR Monday June 8th. Must be committed to posted schedule for a minimum of one year.

This is a 5 week paid training program that includes:
- 2 Weeks in-person classroom based education/training at Newton Wellesley Hospital
- 3 Weeks In person, unit based skills/clinical training
- Employment as a Patient Care Associate at NWH upon completion of the program
