Corporate Advisory focuses on the origination and execution of:
Acquisition Finance
Financing & Debt Advisory
Credit Rating Advisory
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate in Corporate Advisory, your primary responsibilities will include to:
Carry out analysis of industries and companies (business, market, strategy, financials, investment merits, risks)
Prepare and take the lead on the financial model (financial statement analysis, financial projections)
Support the preparation of pitch books for client meetings and internal documents for mandate execution, including supporting their delivery, in coordination with other deal team members.
Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish effective collaboration with a range of internal departments of the bank, including Capital Markets, Coverage, Credit and Derivatives
Meet excellent standards with respect to operational management, communication, governance and compliance with all internal and external regulations, guidelines, standards and procedures
Work Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' experience in Acquisition Finance, Leveraged Finance, or M&A advisory
Skills
Functional / Technical Competencies:
Essential:
Accounting and corporate finance knowledge
Credit analysis and cashflow modelling
Experience creating clear, structured and compelling pitch materials
Good written and spoken English
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Preferred:
Competency in another European language
Education / Qualifications:
Essential:
A Bachelor's degree
Preferred:
Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. CFA)
