The opportunity:

AIA New Zealand is seeking an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Brand & Customer Experience (CX) team!

In this role, you will support with the execution of campaigns and initiatives that enhance the AIA brand in New Zealand, driving the company's overall commercial success and fulfilling our purpose to help New Zealanders live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Brand & CX team with the execution of brand campaigns and initiatives

  • Supporting the creation of internal brand communications and go-to-market plans, fostering a strong connection between our people and our brand

  • Collaborating and supporting on Branded Content and Social activities, including content ideation, article editing and social posting

  • Supporting the planning and execution of brand partnership and sponsorship activities (i.e. charity partner activations such as Pink Shirt Day)

  • Collaborating effectively with the Brand & CX team, the broader Customer Team, and various stakeholders across the business to build strong working relationships

  • Maintaining and monitoring brand performance reports, supporting the preparation of executive reports and presentations

  • Contributing to sound financial management by overseeing brand budget spreadsheets and reports

  • Assisting in the daily management of agency and supplier partnerships

  • Advocating for the consistent implementation of AIA Brand Standards and other brand guidelines across AIA New Zealand, ensuring alignment with AIA Group policies.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a brand or marketing-related role

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Highly organized, methodical, and professional in approach

  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, dynamic, and ambitious

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and present findings clearly and concisely

  • Self-motivated, takes ownership of tasks, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
