We are currently looking for a Process Engineering Intern to join our team in Smyrna, TN. The Process Engineering Intern will gain real world experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
A Day in the Life:
Support daily production processes and quality investigation concerns for assigned process areas
Develop and maintain a working relationship with production, maintenance, and quality teams to include involvement in cross functional work teams/problem solving teams
Analyze part drawings, parts, equipment, warranty data, and dimensional layout data to resolve quality, fit & finish, and maintenance issues
Responsible for a process area or group of commodities including tooling and line functions
Demonstrate data driven problem solving methodology and be able to effectively present work report out updates to all levels of leadership
Who We’re Looking for:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Autonomous problem solver
Good communication skills
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Ability to perform work onsite in Smyrna, TN
