Who we’re looking for:

Toyota’s North America Enterprise Revenue Finance Team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Intern.

NA Finance’s Mission: 

Support North America and Toyota Motors Corporation executive management with key trade-off decisions, planning, reporting, and other analysis to drive profit objectives.

NA Finance’s Vision: 

Utilize business analytics to visualize information, provide guidance, and gain insight into customer preferences to make key business decisions in a timely manner.

What you’ll be doing:

Activities in this role may include:

  • Support Toyota & Lexus sales teams through in-depth analysis of sales trends to identify sales & profit opportunities
  • Analyze and report monthly sales and profit results at the product level and in aggregate, develop and analyze quarterly forecasts, understand internal and external business drivers, prepare and communicate narratives, and lead discussions with executives
  • Provide monthly reports to key stakeholders containing sales and profitability trends and insights, and other related financial planning and analysis support as needed
  • Partner with key Operations Personnel on ad hoc decision support efforts for incremental profit analyses and development of decision support tools, including recommendations for pricing opportunities using statistical analysis and insights derived from business intelligence processes and tools
  • Lead cross functional projects, seek executive support, and influence change
  • Leverage new technologies to improve analytical capabilities to support operations and identify new opportunities for growth

Internship Eligibility:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited MBA or master’s degree program  
  • Available to work full-time during the Summer 2025 term
  • GPA of 2.7 or higher
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Position is located in Plano, Texas and will consist of a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some hybrid work
  • Lawful, unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Reliable transportation as you may be traveling among our various facilities

Qualifications:

A successful candidate will have:

  • Strong initiative, ability to work and excel in pressure situations
  • Ability to effectively communicate persuasively through PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and emails with senior leaders
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and effectively apply data manipulation tools to analyze large datasets - Tableau and Alteryx highly desired
  • Attention to details, ability to think through complex processes, adapt changes quickly, and to challenge the status quo
  • Shifting the priorities and implementing changes under pressure
  • Automotive industry and experience supporting a sales organization is preferred
  • Data science experience is a bonus
  • Agile Scrum project management experience and/or ability to operate in a fast-paced environment is a bonus
