The F&HC R&D Digital Innovation and Modelling Simulation team at P&G is at the forefront of transforming digital capabilities to accelerate and enhance innovation. Our specialists develop new digital platforms that centralize data across Consumer, Performance, and Technology to optimize research workflows and leverage digital tools to elevate product development. We develop sector-wide modelling platforms that facilitate real-time data ingestion, data-driven decision-making.

We are building a new in-house digital composite platform and have an exciting opportunity for a Software Solution Architect to join our growing team. In this role you will drive the design and implementation of the platform, ensuring seamless integration, automation, and productivity enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the hands-on detailed software architecture for all components (front-end/back-end /API’s/integrations) and be part of the build for the platform for certain parts.

  • Collaborate with the F&HC solution architect to make sure there is fit with overall F&HC and enterprise architecture strategy.

  • Apply modern architecture principles: Azure cloud-native, WebAPP reference architectures, domain-driven design, microservices, and back-end for front-end orchestration APIs.

  • Mentor and Guide Team Members: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members. Your leadership will foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with roles such as Software Engineer or Software Developer.

  • Prior experience as a Solution Architect or similar role is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Domain Driven Design

  • Proficient in software development and architecture principles. (NET preferred)

  • Proficient in Azure cloud-native services and solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of modern architecture principles: microservices, domain-driven design, back-end for front-end orchestration.

  • Experience with API design and integration, particularly with Composer or equivalent API systems.

  • Proficiency in designing connected systems for seamless data transfer and automation.
