Founded in 2017, Coalition combines broad insurance coverage with a digital risk assessment and continuous security monitoring to help organizations protect themselves in today’s hyper-connected world.

Opportunities to make an impact with bold thinking are real - and happening daily.

About the role

Coalition is redefining the way organisations manage risk and we’re hiring our first Australia-based Marketing Manager to accelerate distribution of our insurance and security products, and recognition of our brand, in the Australian market.

This role will be responsible for developing content and messaging tailored for the Australian market, promoting Coalition’s vision and value through memorable events, and amplifying our brand through thought leadership and PR.

You will be the driving force behind our events and field marketing programs, ensuring that each one is expertly planned, executed, and evaluated to drive business results and leave a lasting impression on our audience. You will partner with our global PR team and Australian agency to help build Coalition’s brand and evangelise our approach to protecting small and midsize businesses from digital risk. You will adapt our proven content and messaging to the market and identify new opportunities to educate our audience and promote our message in Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep expertise in our target markets and customer segments through research and partnership with our go to market team. Amplify the voice of the customer in your work and collaboration with the product and sales teams.
  • Turn your knowledge into creative content ideas to reach, engage and inspire our key audiences. Partner with content and creative teams to bring these ideas to life through digital, in-person, and new creative channels. You’ll have an opportunity to localize existing content as well as create custom content for the local market.
  • Partner with market leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive event and field marketing strategy that aligns with overall business objectives and goals
  • Develop and execute field marketing programs that drive demand and deepen existing relationships, such as roadshows, local events, and experiential marketing programs
  • Execute thought leadership campaigns with industry contacts, leveraging partners in Coalition’s U.S. business and in the national market.
  • End-to-end ownership of all external events, both industry conferences and owned events, from initial concept all the way through day-of logistics

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience in marketing. Experience with insurance or fintech preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written) and close attention to detail
  • Experience building and testing messaging and campaigns that convert opportunities
  • Demonstrated track record in crafting compelling messaging, content, and campaigns throughout a product's lifecycle
  • Extremely self-motivated, able to work in a dynamic environment on multiple projects
  • Proven success working in a collaborative, team environment
  • Maturity to balance short-term and long-term development simultaneously
  • Highly proficient written communication and editing skills, and ability to quickly learn and adopt the messaging and tone of our company

Perks

  • 100% medical, dental and vision coverage
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Annual home office stipend and WeWork access
  • Mental & physical health wellness programs (One Medical, Headspace, Gympass, and more)!
