Job Summary

This is a full-time, hybrid Summer 2025 Digital Services internship that will be supporting Priority Health Development Support and Operations. This team plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the custom software solutions developed over the past two decades at Priority Health. By ensuring these systems run smoothly and efficiently, they directly support our mission to improve health, instill humanity, and inspire hope. Their work helps provide reliable and innovative tools that empower healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and support to our community. This team loves variety and collaboration. While they often work on tasks individually, they come together regularly to solve problems, enhance systems, and implement new updates. Essential Functions

  • System Enhancements: Help improve our software by adding new features or making it run smoother. You’ll work with our business customers on improvements and bring your ideas to life.
  • Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Get hands-on experience by finding and fixing issues in our systems. It’s a great way to learn the ins and outs of our software and keep everything running smoothly.
  • Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed.
  • Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.
  • May analyzes department processes and other Spectrum Health systems encountered and makes recommendations improvements, as appropriate. Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.
  • Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team player with others to ensure continuity and coordination of services.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a degree in area of accountability
  • Must hold Sophomore status at university
