About the role
As a Product Manager at Upscale, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of several apps within our portfolio. This position will engage in all facets of the B2B product development lifecycle, including research, solution definition, technical implementation, and performance analysis. Initially, your focus will be on delivering a short-term roadmap based on pre-existing functional requirements. However, the scope of the role will soon expand to re-evaluating and setting the vision for other apps in our portfolio.
1-2 day a week at the Norwich office.
What you'll be doing
Defining and Prioritising Features & Requirements:
- Gather insights from customer needs, metrics, and market analysis to define product features and requirements.
- Prioritise initiatives based on potential outcomes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Operating Cross-Functionally:
- Collaborate with UX, marketing, support, and development teams to effectively execute the roadmap.
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination across all stakeholders to deliver desired outcomes.
Setting Goals, Measuring, and Iterating:
- Establish clear goals at both the product and feature levels.
- Continuously measure performance and iterate based on data-driven insights to optimize results.
Understanding the Customer:
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through interviews, analytics, and feedback loops.
- Transform customer insights into actionable plans that drive meaningful outcomes.
Driving Strategic Product Decisions:
Analyse market trends, user feedback, and product performance to make informed, strategic decisions.
Leverage insights to shape the vision and execution of our product portfolio.
Defining Product Vision:
- Craft and communicate a compelling vision for apps within the portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Continuously refine the vision based on evolving insights and desired outcomes.
What we're looking for
- Solid current/previous experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
- Collaborative approach to leading and inspiring a team.
- Driven to set and accomplish complex goals; experience in taking an idea, making a plan, and executing it.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to work across a range of functions, teams, and seniority.
- Experience in defining measures of success in a product and interpreting complex data.
